Frequently asked questions
How are the layers arranged in the Obasan Deluxe Dunlop Latex Mattress?
It has a 4-inch medium or firm support layer, a zoned 4-inch Dunlop latex core, and a soft 2-inch latex top. A 2.5-inch organic Dunlop latex and wool topper adds cushioning and support.
Can I wash the cover if it gets dirty?
The cover is spot-clean only. A mattress protector is recommended to help protect it.
What role do individually wrapped latex layers play during sleep?
Each latex layer is individually wrapped to help limit friction and movement transfer.
What kind of base should support this mattress?
Use a suitable supportive foundation.
Customize your sleep surface with individually wrapped layers of 100% GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex. Choose a medium or firm 4-inch base, adjust the three-zone 4-inch core to suit your support preferences, and enjoy a soft 2-inch top layer designed to ease pressure points. In Queen and King sizes, each side can be configured independently—helpful for couples with different comfort needs.
An organic cotton jersey cover quilted with 900g of GOTS-certified organic wool helps regulate temperature, while the included 2.5-inch organic Dunlop latex topper wrapped in wool adds cushioning and support. The mattress is compatible with adjustable bases and comes with a 20-year limited warranty. Place it on a suitable solid wood slat base with center support where required; the cover is spot-clean only.
